Dr. Sergio Cuison (known as Serge) was born in Mapandan, Pangasinan, Philippines. Serge graduated from University of Santo Tomas (UST), Philippines. He is licensed to practice medicine in Michigan, USA and the Philippines. He is certified in Anesthesiology by American College of Anesthesiologist and by Fellow American College of Anesthesiologist by examination.
Serge is married to Dr. Navora Cuison also from UST Medical School. They have 2 children; Dr. Maryvic Cuison-Jones is an Emergency Department Physician at Mercy Hospital in Muskegon, Michigan, and is married to an Anesthesiologist, Don; Sergio Emery Cuison is RN, BSN and is married to another nurse, Cindy.
Serge and Navora has three (3) grandchildren from Maryvic & Don and four (4) grandchildren from Emery and Cindy.
Serge is a member of AMA, ASA, Michigan Anesthesia Society and Muskegon County Medical Society.
His Community/Civic involvement includes Medical Missions to the Philippines.
Dr. Sergio Cuison has been a long time supporter of WMFAA along with his wife, Dr. Navora Cuison.
